4 songs out of 6 on the new album are now mixed and only the odd overdub remains. It’s taken too long, but we’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! No release date has been decided, but we’ll let you know.

Looking for Christmas gifts with a lasting value? Soon a limited edition vinyl reissue of a since long out of print Anekdoten LP will be available at the store. More information regarding this in the end of November/beginning of December.

Long time no hear! So what have we been up to? Well, we are almost done with the overdubs for the first 4 recorded songs. It’s taken longer time than expected, but quality is more important than speed. A few helpful friends will add some more icing to the cake and we also have a few things to add and fix.

Then it’s back to rehearsal for the remaining tracks. So there is still a long way to go, but we’re slowly getting there!

The work continues

As can be seen in the first posting to this new blog we have finally started the recordings of our new album!

4 backing tracks (drums, bass, guitar) were recorded during 3 days at Atlantis. Since 1959 many of the most famous Swedish recording artists have passed through the doors of the old cinema and it was a fond return for us as we recorded most of “From Within” and “Gravity” there.

Next up is overdubbing in the rehearsal studio (i.e. Sisu Sound). Much has happened since we recorded “A Time Of Day” and it became evident that Sisu Sound needs both soft- and hardware upgrading. But we should be up and running recording Mellotron and assorted keyboards next week.

We’re thrilled to put new material onto tape again. It’s been a long time coming, but finally we’re on our way!
