Jan Erik says: “How to pick a first single from the forthcoming album? Choose a song that is fairly representative and has a bit of everything in it, but is less than 10 minutes long. That the first line in the lyrics is “Hello my friend!” is a bonus in this case.”

The full album download and the CD-edition will be available April 10 and the vinyl-edition (including CD) a few weeks later.

ANNOUNCEMENT
SWEDISH PROGRESSIVE BAND ANEKDOTEN UNVEIL COVER ART AND DETAILS OF THEIR NEW ALBUM
Swedish prog rockers Anekdoten return after an eight year hiatus with their sixth album Until All The Ghosts Are Gone.
The album will be released on April 10th 2015 through their own label, Virta in Europe and North America and Disk Union in Japan. Available on vinyl, cd and digital formats.

Nucleus LP out now
They came in a bit too late to be included on the Christmas wish list, but a 20 year anniversary LP-edition of our second album Nucleus is available from our store now! The reissue is made in 500 numbered copies of which the first 50 are on red/black vinyl.
Remastered by Christoffer Stannow, cut by Record Industry. Gatefold jacket, full colour poster included.

The light at the end of the tunnel
4 songs out of 6 on the new album are now mixed and only the odd overdub remains. It’s taken too long, but we’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! No release date has been decided, but we’ll let you know.
Looking for Christmas gifts with a lasting value? Soon a limited edition vinyl reissue of a since long out of print Anekdoten LP will be available at the store. More information regarding this in the end of November/beginning of December.

Recording update
Long time no hear! So what have we been up to? Well, we are almost done with the overdubs for the first 4 recorded songs. It’s taken longer time than expected, but quality is more important than speed. A few helpful friends will add some more icing to the cake and we also have a few things to add and fix.
Then it’s back to rehearsal for the remaining tracks. So there is still a long way to go, but we’re slowly getting there!
