The Anekdoten Newsletter #19, February 2004
Welcome to newsletter #19!
Nucleus remastered
Nucleus was re-released on Thursday. The CD has been remastered and includes
a never before released bonus track called Luna Surface, which was recorded
during the Nucleus sessions, but has been left in the vaults until now.
The booklet has been revised and enhanced for this reissue. It's now 16
pages and includes additional photos and liner notes by Geir Larzen, chief
editor of the Norwegian Monster Magazine. We think that Christoffer Stannow,
who also mastered From Within and Gravity has done a great job with Nucleus
and we are happy to present this updated version of this ol', but kicking,
collection of songs.
Video
The video for "The War Is Over", shot in the archipelago of
Stockholm, is now available for download at www.anekdoten.se.
See us move in Quicktime- (15 Mb) or wmv-format (5 or 12 Mb)!
Introducing the Anekdoten shop!
The Anekdoten Shop has opened! It's now possible to buy vinyl editions
of Nucleus, From Within and Gravity and Anekdoten t-shirts from our website.
Check out www.anekdoten.se for details.
Disclaimer: It might take some time before the orders are shipped
during the next one and a half months because of our upcoming touring
activities.
Upcoming gigs
We are very excited to announce that we have more gigs than ever coming up in the next few months! And two of the gigs are in countries we've never played
before (Mexico and the Netherlands)! On Tuesday we will leave for the Baja Prog festival in Mexico and in April we will do our biggest tour so far in Europe.
We will share the bill with our friends Ritual (homepage: www.ritual.se) for all the European dates (including Stockholm).
Both bands are scheduled to play 90 minute sets at all dates. There might be more dates added for the Anekdoten/Ritual-tour, so check www.anekdoten.se for updates.
