News 2009 2009-04-07 Chapters! In August 1991 the four of us gathered to rehearse for the very first time in a small house in the village of Djurås. Nicklas and Peter had been playing together in different constellations since they were kids and I had teamed up with them in May 1990 for a project with the specific aim to cover King Crimson songs. But it wasn’t until Anna Sofi joined that the project turned into a proper band. Ever since then Anekdoten has been an ongoing part of our lives. Admittedly, we have not been the most prolific of bands, but there’s been occasional periods of frenzied activity and we’ve continiously been creating music together throughout the years... When the label Kscope proposed doing a career retrospective we jumped at the idea. The introduction is called Chapters and will be released digitally on April the 27th and as a 2-CD set on the 11th of May.
